Use of personal information collected

Any personal information you provide, and/or related betting information, will only be used for the purpose for which it was provided in line with the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988. Information provided to Sports Alive will be used to identify clients in line with the Austrac (AML/CTF) requirements. This information will be matched against the VeriCheck AML database provided by Veda Advantage in order to authenticate the customer accounts. This information will not be otherwise disclosed to other persons or organisations except, under certain circumstances, as required by the appropriate regulatory authorities. Eg. ACT Gambling & Racing Commission or a sporting body where an integrity and information sharing agreement is in place.

Other information collected

When you browse our web site, our system automatically makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:

• your server address
• top level domain name (eg: .com, .net, .gov, .au etc)
• date and time of your visit
• which pages are accessed
• the time spent on individual pages and the site overall
• which files were downloaded

Apart from opening an account and related correspondence, we collect no other personal information about you unless you voluntarily participate in an activity that asks for information, such as:

No attempt will be made to identify individual users browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency (eg Australian Federal Police) exercises a warrant to inspect our web server's log files.
